150 Years of Vivekananda: Pioneer of Transcendental Pluralism
This exhibition is presently on display at the Hannon Library of the Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. It is scheduled for the period June 4 – July 26, 2013. The exhibition features photographs, posters, charts and books to narrate Vivekananda’s 1893 visit to the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago and subsequent activities in the U.S.
Traditional Roots and Contributions of Sri Aurobindo (2012)
Sri Aurobindo (1872-1950) practiced and taught a form of yoga which he called Integral Yoga. He described the philosophical and psychological bases of this yoga in his written works. This talk excavates the traditional roots of his yoga and the ruptures or furtherances which constitute his contributions.
